YMCA Youth Sports have a tremendous impact on the kids in our community. Not only does every child get the opportunity to play and learn skills of the game, but they are also focused around the Y core values of responsibility, respect, honesty, and caring.
In the Summer of 2023 Western joined the Adams County Youth League. Adams County Youth League offers competitive teams with many more schools included on the schedule. These schools are included during school ball as well with rules that align us for developing our players for school ball as they age. We look forward to another competitive summer in 2024.
Again this year, we are playing in the Adams County Youth League against Camp Point Central, Mendon-Unity, Liberty, Payson and Southeastern. Age divisions are based on the players grade in the fall of the next school year (Fall 2024).
Minor Division: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Grade (Coach Pitch)
Major Division: 4th & 5th Grade (Kid Pitch)
Junior Division: 6th, 7th & 8th Grade
Games will be scheduled May 15th – June 21st. There will be a league tournament following the regular season.
Cost: $50 if Registered by March 19, after March 19 the cost is $65.

Tee Ball
Our Tee Ball program is locally based and open to youth ages 3-6 or those not eligible for 1st grade in the fall. Games will be played on a local field on Saturdays in June.
